My Buying Guide on Star Wars Lego The Last Jedi Sets
Hello fellow Star Wars fans! As a collector and enthusiast of both Star Wars and Lego, I have put together this buying guide to help you navigate through the latest sets from The Last Jedi movie. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or a newbie looking to start your collection, this guide will provide valuable information to assist you in making the best purchase decisions.
1. Know the Characters
The first step in purchasing any Star Wars Lego set is to familiarize yourself with the characters. The Last Jedi introduced us to new characters such as Rey, Finn, and Kylo Ren, as well as some classic characters like Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia. Knowing which characters are included in each set will help you decide which ones are a must-have for your collection.
2. Consider Your Budget
The Last Jedi sets range from small microfighters to large-scale playsets, so it’s important to determine your budget before making any purchases. Prices can range from $10 for smaller sets to over $100 for larger ones. Set a budget that works for you and stick to it.
3. Look for Playability
One of the best things about Lego is its playability factor. When considering which sets to purchase, think about how much enjoyment you or your child will get out of playing with them. Some sets may have more interactive features than others, so be sure to read reviews or watch YouTube videos for a closer look.
4. Choose Your Fandom
The Last Jedi sets come in two different themes: Resistance and First Order. If you have a preference for one side over the other, then choose sets accordingly. Or if you want both sides represented in your collection, consider purchasing an equal number of sets from each theme.
5. Check Out Exclusive Sets
Lego often releases exclusive sets that are only available through certain retailers or events like Comic-Con. Keep an eye out for these special releases as they can be highly sought after by collectors and may increase in value over time.
6. Consider Collecting Minifigures
Many fans collect minifigures as their main focus when purchasing Lego sets. If this is something that interests you, then look out for exclusive minifigures that come with certain sets or consider purchasing them separately through online marketplaces like eBay or BrickLink.
7. Read Reviews
Last but not least, read reviews before making any purchases! They can provide valuable insights into the quality and playability of each set, as well as any potential issues with building or missing pieces.
